Hall diary

5 A.M. went 19 miles. passed through Iberia and St. Martinsville both nice towns.
" 10th Started at sunrise. went 10 miles. pass the 19th Corps and camp at Vermillion bayou and stay 12 1/2 days. the Ohio Regts held a State Election on the 13th.
" 23rd Start at 7 A.M. march 15 miles to Crow Karron bayou. rained all day.
" 24th Resumed our march at 6 A.M. march 12 miles to Opelousas. stay until the 27th.
" 27th Started at 7 A.M. and came back to Crow Karron bayou 12 miles.
" 29th Resumed our march at 7 A.M. march 17 miles to Vermillion river. rained all the forenoon.
" 30th Started at 5 A.M. and marched 20 miles to Iberia.
Nov 4th Our Regt garrison the town. Lt. Col Kershner Comdg. Post.
Nov 8th The Division started for Franklin at 5 A.M. the 16th did not get
