Arriving at Halls Gap Early in the Evening and camped here until the morning of the 18th.
" 18th Resumed our march again this morning and went 11 miles to Waynesburg. it rained very hard all day, and the mud was nearly knee deep which made it very hard marching. we made ourselves as comfortable as possible in houses and barns. the rain continued most of the night
