The database you are searching originally included all information available from the Official Roster of Ohio Soldiers for the 3-year regiment, September 1861 through October 31, 1864 and the 90-day regiment, May 3, 1861 through August 18, 1861. Also included are the 89 drafted soldiers who served from October 8, 1862 to August 12, 1863. This data is being continually enhanced with research by the website. All 16th Ohio soldiers are recorded. Enhanced research has provided full military service histories for 16th Ohio soldiers, working alphabetically, currently through last names beggining with 'Wi'. All soldiers will eventually have their full service records, as far as can be determined through historical records, included on the database.
