Hall diary

" 3rd Resumed our march at sunrise. stoped at 9 Oclock and made coffee and eat our breakfast. Started again in half an hour and arrived at Greenupsburg about 3 P.M. had a very hard rain about 11 Oclock. we campled on the levee. the people treated us very kindly for which we are truly thankful. Marched 13 miles.
" 4th Resumed our march this morning going down the Left bank of the river 5 miles where we embarked on Steamers and flat baots and went on down the river 7 miles to Wheelersburg Ohio. We (De Courceys Brig) marched up to town where we found a first rate dinner prepared for us. there was more than the
