in the left cheek and on man a mortal wound in the forehead from which he died after laying five days.
30th The force returned to camp making a march of about 30 miles. The 26th Brigade 7th Division was formed of the following regts 16th & 42nd Ohio 14th & 22nd Ky & 1st Wisc Battery, Col John F DeCourcy Comdg. Genl Geo W. Morgan Comdg Division. we staid here 54 days.

22nd
The Brigade marched today and went 5 miles to Moss House where we camped until 7th of June. had splendid spring water.
June 7th Brigade started at 6 A.M. for Roger's Gap went 8 miles. our road is through a hilly country but as most
