Hall diary

6th Resumed our march at 9 oclock this morning and went 8 miles. arrived at London early in the evening. the roads were very bad and the teams could not get to camp. as we were compeled to lay out to the weather. we camped in a nice meadow near the 9th Ohio Battery. Our train arrived on the Evening of the 7th. we staid here three days.
" 10th Started out this morning at 8 A.M. and marched 14 miles. roads tolerable good. 49th Indiana came into town as we left. Co I of our Regt was left her on guard
" 11th Marched 11 miles. Snowed most of the forenoon.
" 12th Marched 8 miles and camped on the bank of the Cumberland river.
