WINTER IN INDIANOLA - BACK TO THE TENTS

On this day, after the soldiers worked hard to fix up their quarters in private homes, a luxury during a stormy winter on the Texas coast, they were ordered to leave the houses and move to a camp just outside of Indianola, Texas, where they would again live in flimsy tents. The disappointment must have been great.
