| *** Historical records on these two John Snyders are highly conflicting and was likely mixed up between the two veterans multiple times through history. Pension records indicate the Michigan burial included service with the 32nd OVI while the Ohio Grave Registration Card indicates same. This website has settled to post the biographical data per Ohio records as that burial happened just 11 years after the war vs. the Michigan records which were 68 years later. It is, however, very possible some of the data belongs to the other man. Research continues, however, if anyone has clarifing information they can share with this website it would be greatly appreciated. | ||
